A Hitachi executive delivered the keynote at the company’s event in New Delhi as a life-size AI avatar on a HoloBox911: full height, glasses-free and word for word.
Hitachi hired a HoloBox911 unit and crew for the event. We built the AI avatar, produced the keynote and ran the show on the New Delhi stage. The executive could address the room without flying in, and nobody in the audience needed a headset.
What we built
A life-size AI avatar keynote for Hitachi’s event in New Delhi
Summary
Lorena Dellagiovanna, Senior Vice President and Executive Officer at Hitachi, Ltd., needed to address Hitachi’s company event in New Delhi. Instead of flying in, she was recreated as a life-size AI avatar that delivered her approved address on the Delhi stage inside a HoloBox.
We built the avatar, produced the keynote content and ran the show on the day. The address played to a full room from start to finish, and no flights were booked.
About the event
This was a global company event convened by Hitachi in New Delhi for an invited internal audience. It was not a public conference: there was no registration, ticketing or exhibition floor.
The format
- Host: Hitachi, as its own company event
- City: New Delhi
- Audience: invited delegates, seated in a conference layout facing the stage
- Keynote: about 20 minutes, delivered by a life-size AI avatar of the executive
The event date was fixed and the executive’s diary could not allow the trip from Tokyo, so her AI avatar gave the keynote instead. No flights were booked for the appearance. Outside the main session, the display also stood in a lit lobby, where delegates walked up to it.

What we delivered
A life-size AI avatar of the executive gave the keynote on the New Delhi stage, at full height and glasses-free. The name plate on the display read “Lorena Dellagiovanna, Senior Vice President and Executive Officer”.
