Inauguration of the Metaverse Experience Center

The day the Center opened in Noida. More than 30 guests spent it in discussions, presentations and use-case demonstrations, and tried VR, AR and mixed reality for themselves.

What happened

Guests heard presentations, took part in discussions and went through use-case demonstrations. Vijay Sethi, Chairman of MentorKart, sat down for a fireside chat on the Center's role in helping leaders judge the return on XR, and a second fireside chat explored Bharatbox.

The press announcement followed on 16 April 2024, and the Center was reported as India's first Metaverse Experience Center.

What they tried

HTC VIVE Focus 5K, Oculus Quest 2 and 3, RealWear devices, Vuzix, Apple Vision Pro, a Pico VR headset and Microsoft HoloLens, along with a phygital training set-up that mixed physical and digital learning.

The Center is open to business visitors by appointment. A visit takes 60 to 90 minutes.
