The challenge in this industry

A light tower is large site equipment. Your sales team cannot take one to every client meeting, and a brochure does not show how the tower will look on the client's site or how it works.

When there is no physical product in the room, each salesperson tends to explain it in their own way, so buyers get a different demo depending on who they meet.

How we help

We give light tower manufacturers four ways to show their products without a physical unit: AR that brings the machine into the client's actual space, VR presentations, product demos with a 3D printed miniature, and a standardised sales demo app.

Bring the machine into the client's actual space

With augmented reality on a tablet or phone, a life-size light tower appears in the client's own space. The same model also works as an interactive tabletop experience.

What your client experiences:

  • A life-size machine in their actual space, so they see exactly how it looks on site
  • A 360° walkthrough: they walk around the virtual machine naturally
  • A working animation of the machine as it functions
  • Feature callouts that show the key selling points on screen during the demo
  • An optional guided voiceover that explains the machine's features

Product demos without a physical product

In virtual reality, the client stands next to a life-size light tower in a fully immersive environment, with complete presence and scale.

  • Natural walkthrough: move around the machine, look up and look inside
  • Explore the internal structure and how the machine works
  • Watch the machine's working cycle in detail
  • Cast the headset to a large TV, so your sales team sees exactly what the client sees

A standardised sales demo app

A digital machine demo tool for tablets and desktops gives every salesperson the same demo. With it, your sales team can:

  • Select any model from the product catalogue
  • Rotate it in 3D and show it from every angle
  • Show exploded views that break down the assembly
  • Highlight key USPs, specs and features
  • Play a working animation to demonstrate operation
  • Explore internal components to explain the engineering
  • Show configurations, variants and options
  • Display use cases and application scenarios

ASKA at Transform HSE 2025

The India HSE Summit brings together government officials, industry leaders, HSE experts and technology providers. For ASKA's booth we built an augmented reality light tower showcase, alongside a gamified IoT-based fire simulation and a tablet-based 3D product application.

Solutions used: gamification, AR, touch-screen app. A HoloCube was also used at this booth. It is past work and is not something we offer now. Read the ASKA case study.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How can light tower manufacturers demo a machine without bringing it to the client?

With AR or VR, a life-size light tower appears in the client's own space on a tablet or phone, or in a headset. There are also demos with a 3D printed miniature and a standardised sales demo app.

Can a client see a light tower in their own space before buying?

Yes. In an AR demo, the client sees a life-size machine in their actual space and can walk around it in a 360° walkthrough. The demo includes a working animation, feature callouts showing key selling points and an optional guided voiceover. The same model also works as an interactive tabletop experience.

How can a buyer see inside a light tower without opening it?

With a VR demo. The client stands next to a life-size light tower in a fully immersive environment. They can walk around the machine, look up and look inside, explore its internal structure and watch its working cycle in detail. The headset can be cast to a large TV so the sales team sees what the client sees.

How can a light tower sales team give the same demo at every meeting?

With a standardised sales demo app on tablets and desktops, which gives every salesperson the same demo. The team can select any catalogue model, rotate it in 3D, show exploded views, highlight USPs and specs, play working animations, explore internal components and show configurations and use cases.
