Lady M's AR Celebration for Mid-Autumn Festival

In partnership with Lady M Confections, we developed an augmented reality (AR) Instagram filter to complement their limited edition 2023 Moonglow Gift Set, which celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival. The aim was to create an immersive experience that would resonate with customers and drive pre-orders, starting with influencers. We designed two interactive filters, one for influencers and one for customers and fans, allowing them to experience the gift set and join in the festival celebration from anywhere.

To capture the essence of the Mid-Autumn Festival and enhance the gift set's packaging, we crafted an AR filter that allowed users to virtually explore the design elements of the gift set. This included elements such as full moons, lucky rabbits, festival lanterns, and decorative foliage. Users could interact with a 3D model of the gift set, creating their own animated garden scene by swiping a magical rabbit around the space.

To further enhance the packaging's artistic motifs, we created 3D models of the featured flowers and animated them to appear dynamically behind the rabbit in a random order. This ensured that each user enjoyed a unique and captivating garden scene while using the AR filter. The flower colors complemented the design of the gift set, adding visual appeal without overpowering it. Additionally, we designed a realistic yet whimsical rabbit that mirrored the gold foil accents of the gift set, adding a touch of enchantment.

For influencers, we developed a unique AR filter that guided them through aligning a virtual unit with their physical gift set. This allowed influencers to control the rabbit's movements and reveal 3D floral elements without obstructing the view of their physical gift box. This approach empowered influencers to create engaging content that seamlessly integrated the gift set with the magic of the AR filter, driving excitement and pre-orders for the Moonglow Gift Set.
